Changing your latitude changes the rotation of the sky.

Click here to begin at a latitude of 15 degrees north. Note how low Polaris is in the sky. Locate the stars Vega and Eltanin on the left side of the screen.

Now press the P button in the Toolbar to start time running. Both Vega and Eltanin fall beneath the horizon before reappearing.
