Moon Missions: Apollo 10 Activities in Lunar Orbit

Apollo 10 spent 62 hours in lunar orbit. The crew took photographs of the moon including close-ups of the landing site planned for Apollo 11 in the Sea of Tranquility.

The Lunar Module “Snoopy” undocked from the Command Service Module “Charlie Brown” and descended to 50,000 feet before firing its engine to return to the Command Service Module.
