Moon Missions: Apollo 15 Introduction

Apollo 15 was the first of the last three Apollo flights to the moon. The lunar module now had the capability of supporting three days on the moon and carried the lunar rover.

With this electric car, the astronauts could explore sites of interest several kilometers from the lunar module, carrying with them tools and returning with bags of lunar samples.
