The crew ignited their Service Module engine for a 204-second burn, which pushed them out of lunar orbit on their way home to Earth.

Not long after leaving lunar orbit, they looked back at a unique perspective of the moon. They probably missed the Pleiades appearing from behind the moon as they watched it quickly recede.
